Gen Z Daddy and Millenial teen Heart throb, Josh Hartnett recently revealed he was the brains behind the iconic music video for kid cudi Pursuit of happiness.

In a recent interview with the hook on TikTok/Instagram, Josh revealed that he has been friends with Cudi for many years after being introduced at a Ratatat concert, whom he is also friends with, and terminal 5 in NYC. Josh also stated that he pitched the idea for the video which was shot in one night for $5000.

This information broke this and all millennial brains, pursuit of happiness and the accompanying video and remixes was the poster child for indie sleaze. In an era before widespread use of camera phones and social media, Jeffrey Campbell boots, skinny jeans and lots of eyeliner.
